Moldova/Ukraine - Children beyond the War

This is a series of photos from my humanitarian report on Moldova, working with Ukrainian war refugees and Moldovan social orphans.

In October 2023, with my son Arthur Herpe on video, we travelled to Moldova and the autonomous territory of Gagauzia to teach photography to these children in several local associations that welcome and house them.

Sharing with these children who have suffered so much was very enriching for everyone, and they showed a lot of motivation, creativity and joy!
Arthur and I were delighted to be able to feel useful and bring a little comfort to these children.

Their work, ours and the documentary we both co-directed, are being shown in several exhibitions in different capitals, without distinction, to put us all on an equal footing and showcase the children.
We started in Paris, at the Cultural Centre of the Ukrainian Embassy, which was a great success (in the former mansion of Alain Delon and Romy Schneider)!
Then Vienna, Brussels, Chisinau, etc.
