In a very remote village, I photographed a hut in the middle of the vegetation. As I turned round, I saw this child in my tuk-tuk crushing his nose against the bar as he looked at me. It was an emotional moment for me.You can read more about this child's story here:

The reportage from which this photo is taken won 3 awards at the IPA (International Photography Awards), categories Social Cause, Children, and Portraits, New-York, USA, 2016, and received the award for Best Documentary Photo at Boundless Pictures in 2024, UK.
And published in the book ‘L'Odyssée de Grégory Herpe’.
I travelled to Cambodia at the invitation of French journalist Tina Kieffer to do a black and white report on her NGO ‘Toutes à l'école’.
