Kallhäll, Sweden
Walking through the forest in Sweden is a bit like being in a children's story. You're amazed and a little scared.
No doubt because of the very special atmosphere.
I took this photo in the north of Stockholm, near a lake into which a river flows.
Vikings once docked here. A huge flat rock is proof of this.
This typical red house seems to have appeared out of nowhere.
Is it the house of a hermit withdrawn from the world or of a witch preparing her poisons?
This particular red is called Falun red. It's a pigment made from the slag of the Falun copper mine in central Sweden.
