A 1960s bus, once purchased from Great Britain.
Until the mid-2010s, Malta's bus fleet was exclusively made up of vintage British and American vehicles from the 1950s and 60s, each with its own distinct shape and brand: Bedford, Jaguar, Leyland, A.E.C.
Sadly, today, a more conventional company has taken over.
And above, the clouds—always a source of wonder for the photographer.
For him, no sky is as captivating as one filled with clouds; to him, they are full of poetry, evoking childhood memories of trying to spot animals, objects, or mythical figures in their ever-changing forms.
This photograph was featured in the exhibition catalog L'odyssée de Gregory Herpe during his retrospective at the Musée de St-Cyprien and in the Art Magna catalog in Brussels, 2019.
