Etosha National Park, NamibiaThis lion is one of the emblematic predators of this vast reserve. These lions have adapted to the park's arid environment, which consists mainly of dry savannah, saline plains and scattered waterholes.
In Etosha, lions are often seen near waterholes, where they wait for prey to come and drink. Unlike in other, wetter regions, Etosha's lions sometimes have to travel long distances to find food, which makes them particularly resilient and adaptable.
The park is an ideal place to observe these majestic felines in a wild and unspoilt setting.
