Lion populations are now being decimated by man. According to scientists, the species could disappear by 2050 if things are not drastically changed.

In Africa, the lion now lives in just 15% of what was once its entire territory.

This meteoric disappearance is essentially due to man and poaching.

As tiger bones and rhinoceros horns have become extremely rare, lions are hunted for their bones, which are used as an alternative in Chinese medicine.
It's a shame for such wonderful species that I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph in the wild...
