Perpignan, France
Two little gypsy girls pose in front of their caravan.
One of them is wearing a sweatshirt representing Violetta (played by actress Martina Stoessel), the heroine of the Argentinian series for teenagers on the Disney Channel.
I photographed the gypsy community of Perpignan, in French Catalonia, for a dozen years. On the Spanish border, these gypsies live a sedentary existence, sometimes in terrible poverty.
